Dr. Sanjeev Arora was born in the divine family of mother Smt. Kulwant Arora and father Sh. Jagdeesh Arora on 11th May 1976 in Karol Bagh, New Delhi. He did his schooling from D.A.V. Sr. Sec. School, Pusa Road, New Delhi and passed his graduation from University of Delhi. In his youth days he joined Bhartiya Janta Party under expert guidance of Late Dr. Sahab Singh Verma ( Ex Chief Minister of Delhi ).
Dr. Arora developed keen interest in serving society for which he laid foundation stone of Naraina Vihar Social Welfare Society . As he is resident of Naraina Vihar he did numbers of social work for the welfare of Naraina Vihar residents. He looked after all interests of senior citizens, women and students welfare. He appointed Complaint Boxes at various places in Naraina for the residents to write local problems related to Delhi Jal Board, Municipal authorities or Security issues to be taken up by him to the converned departments.

Religious Trip

He arranged programs like Amritvani Path for continuous 40 days, took out senior citizens on religious trips to Salasar Balaji, Ajmer Sharif, Khatu Shyam and Vrindavan etc., which shows his strong devotion towards religion. He was named as 'Metro Man' for bringing Metro Station to Naraina which is giving respite to lacs of commuters from Naraina to other places of the Capital today.
Through his political journey Dr. Arora developed many high profile relations with Prime Ministers, Cabinet Ministers and Diplomats. He held key posts in BJP . In political as well as Social arena Dr. Sanjeev Arora Ganga Putra is a well versed name for his leadership qualities and social entrepreneurship.

Leap in Life

His life took a leap when he established Indraprasth Sanjeevni NGO to grow his graph of social activities out of his native place Naraina.He accelerated and spread his activities in the capital for the welfare of society at large. Under the banner of NGO he started projects like #Delhi Needs Change, #Selfie with Mother and # Rape Free India. NGO is also associated with various Government projects like Swachhata Abhiyan, Namami Gange Abhiyan etc. His unique ideas , excellence and true devotion towards his social responsibilities has won him various awards and appreciations from all sectors of society.
Dr. Sanjeev Arora is a name of great respect and honor in the field of social work. Dr. Arora has devoted his whole life to the service of society and thus is given title of “Ganga Putra ” for his devotion for clean Ganga project. Dr. Arora is known for his unique ideas in his work field. Being the President of Indraprasth Sanjeevni NGO, Dr. Arora has taken up many social issues like women and child welfare and safety of senior citizens and other Govt. projects. He is also chief editor of Indraprastha Sanjeevni Patrika. His skill of writing can be seen in his self written book “Mokshdayni Ganga Maiya”

Appreciation

Sanjeev Arora's radiance can be judged through his excellent work for which he has been awarded with Appreciation certificates several times. Dr. Arora has conducted 80 Free Medical Health Checkup Camps where thousands of senior citizens have taken advantage. More than 15000 Free spectacles, Free Wheel Chairs and hand Sticks have been distributed to the seniors of the capital.
Under the banner of NGO, in the partnership of Delhi Election Commission Dr. Arora has organized various Awareness Drives in the colleges of Delhi University. Thousands of youth have been made aware of their voting rights and the importance of voting in these drives.

Organized Health Camps

On Humanitarian grounds Dr. Sanjeev Arora associated his NGO with Tihar Jail. Several Health camps have been organized in the jail for the welfare of tihar inmates. Free spectacles have been given to the needy prisoners. Several entertainment shows have been held in the prison for their happiness. Several counseling have been given to the youth for their good conduct.

Organized Swachhta Campaign

Under Dr. Arora's expert guidance NGO held a very important and efficient Swachhta Campaign in 70 Vidhan Sabha of the capital by showing Nukkad Natak in the span of 14 days. Through these Nukkad Nataks lakhs of people were made aware of the importance of cleanliness in their homes as well as the streets and the city. This campaign was influenced by Government's Swachh Bharat Mission started in 2012 by our Honorable Prime Minister Sh. Narender Modi.
Dr. Arora initiated another unique idea of putting Swachha Grahee Name Plate in front of the houses . This palte said “ Main Swachha grahee hoon''. Union Minister Mr. Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi inaugurated this plate and later on thousands of Delhi citizens put this plate with their name in front of their houses.
Dr. Arora took another very effective initiative to keep Delhi clean was to print lakhs of carry bags with a slogan “Ab Kuda Nahi Sadak Per". These bags were given to every car owner, who passed on different red lights of the capital, by the volunteers of the NGO.

Ganga Project

Ganga Putra Sanjeev Arora, connected public with Namami Ganga Project run by the Government of India by his unique ideas. He arranged marathons, “Run for Ganga" in the colleges where thousands of students ran for Clean Ganga and made people aware of the importance of Ganga project. To make this project more effective Namami Gange Camps were held at various places of Delhi where free Ganga Jal Bottles were distributed to the people. Dr. Arora did not stop at this point and he thought of making this project DIGITAL so that he can reach to maximum number of people at one given time. He developed “Ganga Jal" Mobile APP where anyone can get Ganga Jal bottle at his doorstep with just one click. This App made people take a pledge of cleaning Ganga and it's Ghats before ordering their requests. In this way numerous number of people have been connected with Namami Gange project.

Medical Camps

It is not an exaggeration to say that Dr. Sanjeev Arora is a public figure who has joined millions of people for social service through his medical camps, Awareness Drives and Ganga Jal App. He is an assured milestone in relations between the chain of people of our country for which he has been honored with Doctorate Degree of social work from Ballsbridge University, Keral, India.
